Hero 4.0 – Business as Usual

Hero 4.0 – Business as Usual

About the performance:

In the fourth performance of the “heroic” duo Kaurin-Weis, we once again witness their unwavering persistence on stage. As long as the audience is in the auditorium, they will not give up.

They tackle difficult themes and existential questions in their characteristic witty and authentic manner. Just when we begin to wonder whether any of this even makes sense, they crawl under our skin again and start voicing our thoughts and reflections. The position of the audience is so intriguing to them that, this time, they actually perform it. Yet, in the end, they are left alone. All that remains for them is each other. They blindly believe that they belong on stage. And it’s hard for us to oppose them.

So what does all this mean? To understand, you have to see the performance live. We will definitely have fun.

About the authors:

Project Hero is created by Uroš Kaurin and Vito Weis, award-winning creators of the independent scene both domestically and internationally, each of whom, in their own way, “dabble” in institutional theatre. The project has been in development since 2011, but the Hero is not just the two of them; it also involves their regular collaborators Katarina Stegnar (dramaturge), Boris Bezić (video artist), and Lea Čehovin (musician). Their goal is to try and work together for as long as they are inspired to do so, to do theatre, stay true to themselves, and also to be honest with the audience.
