Slovenian Mountain Trail (Slovenska transverzala)

Slovenian Mountain Trail (Slovenska transverzala)

About the performance:

Slovenian Mountain Trail is a performance about mountains. About all the peaks connected by this nationwide hiking trail. About the people who climb them, about pride, about the beauty and dangers up there, and, of course, about Rok, who has been drawn to the heights since childhood. Just like his father. After all, blood runs deep.

Rok and his father often put this theory to the test in the mountains, strengthening both body and spirit. But at such altitudes, the unpredictable can happen. Oxygen is scarce, and the brain works differently. Nature is relentless. The weather is fickle, and extreme conditions can arise in an instant. That’s when inhibitions fade. Masks fall. And nothing is as it seems.
