{"id":1958,"date":"2019-05-02T21:36:29","date_gmt":"2019-05-02T19:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prestopi.si\/?p=1958"},"modified":"2021-05-31T10:35:05","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T08:35:05","slug":"your-moment-use-your-voice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prestopi.si\/en\/your-moment-use-your-voice\/","title":{"rendered":"Your moment &#8211; use your voice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Round table on European elections, what do they bring\u00a0to youth and what does youth bring to them<\/h4>\n<p>Recently, Europe has faced different challenges\u00a0(migrations, unemployment among young\u00a0people, protection of privacy, climate change\u00a0etc.) and it is time to get informed about the\u00a0current situation and step over into a new\u00a0society without fear. We want to build an open,\u00a0inclusive and solidarity-based society. This is\u00a0the reason for organising a round table on the\u00a0elections to the European parliament together\u00a0with students and for students.\u00a0The speakers from different fields that touch\u00a0upon European politics and youth will take\u00a0part in the roundtable discussion.<\/p>\n<p>The event\u00a0is organised with the help of the Department\u00a0for Sociology, Faculty of Arts of the University\u00a0of Maribor, which has recently published\u00a0the survey Youth 2018, in the framework of\u00a0an international research project which is\u00a0simultaneously implemented in ten countries\u00a0of South East Europe. The main purpose\u00a0of research is to determine, describe and\u00a0analyse the young people\u2019s relationships and\u00a0behavioral patterns in contemporary society.\u00a0The aspects covered by the study are youth\u2019s\u00a0education, employment, political participation,\u00a0family relationships, free time, the use of\u00a0information and communication technologies,\u00a0and values and beliefs.
