This weekend we are paving the stairs and inviting you to the BOOM performance!

On Friday, June 4, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., we are paving the way back to the theater, back to the Intimate Stage! So that for the first time since autumn 2020, it will be able to open its doors wide to the public. Andraž Jug & Slam zverine will pave the way and lay tiles at the event Hands Are Gold. Metaphorical tiles. Symbolic tiles. Literal tiles. Onto the staircase leading to GT22 from Jewish Street. Would you like to help? Would you like to sweep, draw, poet, mix, grind, straw, cut, lay, perform, rehearse, grout, socialize, wash and pave the way for culture? Culture needs a new workforce. Come in clothes that you will be happy to get dirty. You will receive a workers’ booklet, and we will repay you with a workers’ lunch for your help.

After work we will take a well-deserved break, and in the evening we will move to the Jewish Square, where the Jazz ‘ma mlade with birds of unknown (SI) and Borna Pehar 4tet (CRO / SI) begins!

On Saturday, June 5, at 6 p.m., Slam Zverine will open the renovated staircase with poetry and we will be able to enter the theater – with the show B O O M !, which starts at 7 p.m. Using various theatrical expressions, the play imaginatively addresses a wide thematic field of fundamental philosophical, ethical, historical and scientific issues of modern humanity. It problematizes the formation of the atomic bomb through the biographical aspect of its father, the physicist Robert Oppenheimer, and tries to resolve his internal conflicts more than half a century after his death.
